How can we help?

Choose what it is about: each card opens the place that handles it, with what we need already filled in.

  • Something is wrong in a guide

Tell us the page and what is wrong. We fix it and update the date shown on the page.
  • Remove something

Copyright, personal data, or anything unlawful on a page or a post. A person reads every request.
  • A technical question

Describe what you tried; people who have met the problem reply, and you accept the best answer.
  • Your personal data

Ask what we hold about you, or have it corrected or deleted.
  • Anything else

Questions about the site, partnerships, ideas or feedback.

Good to know

Before you write

Do you answer technical questions by e-mail?

Please ask in the community instead: your question and its answers stay there for the next person with the same problem. E-mail is best for corrections and for questions about the site itself.

What should I include when I report a mistake?

The address of the page, what is wrong (quote the sentence, step or code) and what you expected, or where the correct information is. The “Something is wrong in a guide” card above starts that message for you.

How do I get a copy of my data, or have it deleted?

Write to us, ideally from the address you used with us, and say what you would like: a copy, a correction or deletion. The Privacy policy explains what we keep.

Can I republish one of your guides?

You may share links and quote short extracts with credit. To republish a whole piece, ask us first. The Terms of use have the details.

I found a security problem on the site

Please tell us privately by e-mail rather than in the community, with the steps to reproduce it, so it can be fixed before anyone else learns of it.

Strictly necessary

Remembers your theme, the lessons you marked as done and this choice. It stays on your device, tracks nothing and cannot be switched off.

What exactly is collected, and why

Gixian’s own counts

Collects
The pages you open and how long you stay, how far you scroll, where you came from, your device type, browser, screen size, language and time zone. Your IP address is turned into a code that changes every day; it is never stored as it is.
Why
To see how long lessons are read and where readers leave. Not shared with anyone.
Stored
A random visitor ID, a visit ID and the time of your last page view in your browser’s storage (gx_vid, gx_sid, gx_last). No name or email is attached.
